Quantum Sensing Centre hosts visit by A*STAR Chief Executive Officer Mr Beh Kian Teik
We were honoured to host Mr Beh Kian Teik, Chief Executive Officer of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), at the Quantum Sensing Centre. During the visit, the QSC team introduced our mission to accelerate the development of quantum sensing technologies and shared ongoing work across our key research areas. A*STAR researchers also had the opportunity to share their work on quantum magnetometers that is undertaken collaboratively at QSC. The visit reaffirm

Quantum sensors from the lab to the field: focus on cold atom inertial sensors and diamond NV centre magnetometer
On 21st May 2026, the Quantum Sensing Centre hosted a Tech Talk by Dr Remi Geiger, founder and CEO of the company Kwan-tek (France), titled “Quantum sensors from the lab to the field: focus on cold atoms and diamond technologies”, where Dr Geiger shared his expertise on cold atom inertial sensors as well as the diamond nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centre magnetometer products from Kwan-tek. In his talk, Dr Geiger presented two technologies of quantum sensors that have moved from the

Quantum Sensing Centre hosts visit by ONERA CEO Dr Emmanuel CHIVA and President CentraleSupélec Prof Romain SOUBEYRAN
We were honoured to host Dr Emmanuel CHIVA, ONERA CEO, and Prof Romain SOUBEYRAN, President CentraleSupélec, at the Quantum Sensing Centre on 21 April 2026. During the visit, we introduced QSC's mission and highlighted the five key quantum sensing technology focus areas to Dr Chiva and Prof Soubeyran’s teams. We also highlighted ongoing collaboration with ONERA on cold atom sensors and with SONDRA/LuMIn on Rydberg atom sensors. Afterwards, we brought Dr Chiva and Prof Soubey

Opening Our Quantum Sensing Centre to the Next Generation of Quantum Professionals
Earlier this week, we welcomed students and early‑career researchers to our Quantum Sensing Centre as part of our commitment to strengthening the local quantum ecosystem. Our goal was clear: to raise the visibility of QSC and deepen understanding of quantum technologies among the next generation of quantum professionals. Just as importantly, we wanted to connect with them directly as they explore their pathways in this rapidly evolving field. On top of a tour of our facilitie

Quantum Sensing Centre hosts visit by Director General Han Kyungsoo of the Republic of Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration
We were honoured to host Han Kyungsoo, Director General of the Republic of Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) together with the CEO of DSO National Laboratories at the Quantum Sensing Centre. During the visit, QSC principal investigators presented ongoing work across quantum magnetometry, Rydberg atom sensors and advanced photonics integration. The discussions focused on how fundamental quantum physics is transiting from laboratory demonstrations to p
