Harnessing Quantum Sensing for Tomorrow's Challenges
The Quantum Sensing Centre (QSC) is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the National Quantum Office (NQO), with DSO National Laboratories leading its implementation. The centre focuses on advancing quantum sensing technologies through experiments, testing, and characterization of quantum sensors. By bringing together a diverse group of local and international scientific and engineering experts, QSC aims to drive innovation and expand the practical applications of this cutting-edge technology.

Located @ Ascent of Singapore Science Park, the Quantum Sensing Centre was offically opened in May 2025.
It comprises of 484 square metres of collaborative space and labs with state-of-the-art equipment to conduct R&D and testing of Quantum Sensors.
At its core, the Quantum Sensing Centre exists to:

Support MINDEF's and NQO's efforts to drive development of dual-use quantum sensing technologies.

Facilitate open collaboration between researchers, companies, and application owners to develop innovative solutions.

Fund technology validation, quantum sensor prototyping, and transition to industry.
