Quantum Sensing Centre hosts visit by Director General of the Defence Research and Development Organisation, India

On the 10th Dec 2025, the Quantum Sensing Centre hosted a visit by Dr (SMT) Chandrika Kaushik, Distinguished Scientist and Director General of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), India. The QSC team warmly welcomes Dr Kaushik and her team, who had recently set up an R&D centre for quantum technologies in India.
During the visit, the team introduced QSC's mission and highlighted the five key quantum sensing technology focus areas to Dr Kaushik's team. The QSC team and Dr Kaushik's team had an engaging discussion about the quantum technology ecosystems of Singapore and India, and potential avenues for collaboration. Afterwards, the visit concluded with a tour of the QSC facilities where the QSC team showcased the current work being done to Dr Kaushik.
The team from QSC and DRDO look forward to exploring further opportunities to collaborate and drive innovation in quantum technologies together.
